Our natural latex crib mattress gives a firm, supportive surface for your baby. This mattress starts with 100% pure natural latex, no synthetic fillers, covered with organic puddle pad material. The puddle pad material is just like the puddle pads we sell separately. It's made out of organic wool that has been felted to repel liquids. So it's like getting 2 products in one! The wool in the cover of this mattress makes it naturally fire retardant.

Because the puddle pad material will cause liquids to bead up and sit on the pad instead of going through, it is recommended to have a cotton pad to use on top of this mattress to absorb liquids and keep your baby dry.

Made with 14 oz, 100% organic cotton batting per square yard. Super absorbent! Lays flat, no straps. Use this on top of the puddle pad to absorb liquids and keep your baby dry. Put fitted sheet over this pad to help keep it in place. Machine washable and dryable so you can throw it in the laundry along with the sheets.
