DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Apply 1/2 to 1 measured tsp. to abdomen or inner thighs once or twice per day. Massage into the skin well. Rotate application sites.

INGREDIENTS: Certified organic wild yam root, organic marshmallow root in organic extra virgin olive and organic coconut oils, beeswax, sea buckthorn oil, mixed tocopherols and grapefruit seed extract.

Because of the growing trend of applying medications cutaneously and their beliefs about absorbing nutrients through the skin,  IMH decided to put wild yam root into a cream. They are continually receiving letters from women telling them that the Wild Yam Root cream works for them. It is not known how it works. At the 1995 Gaia herb conference, a group of distinguished herbalists and naturopaths hypothesized that when viewing PMS and menopause as inflammatory processes, perhaps wild yam's anti-inflammatory property works on the adrenal glands that produce healing results. IMH is in the process of testing this hypothesis. In the meantime, we will continue to provide this safe, non-toxic preparation with no side effects and to educate the public clearly and with integrity about what is known. Wild Yam Root cream contains ingestible alcohol which is potentially drying to the skin, so the highly mucilaginous marshmallow root is also included in our formula as a concentrated soother of delicate tissue. This product contains no estrogen or progesterone.
