We take our super pure, tested free of chemicals, wool and we super process it organically (Certified by Oregon Tilth)
to remove vegetation, dust, and excess oils. The result is a lofty, clean wool that does not have the pungent odor of many natural wools. Hand tufting makes this organic wool comforter feel more lofty and fluffy.

Covered in a luxurious European organic cotton outer. (For a less expensive option, try our 330 thread count sateen outer)

This organic wool comforter comes in regular weight, lite weight and heavy weight. The lite weight comforter is designed as lighter with less wool for the person who prefers a lightweight feel. The heavy weight comforter contains more filling for a heavier feel. All are all season comforters since wool insulates without overheating allowing a better night's rest. Hand tufted for a fluffier feel.

Wool filling keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter, the air trapped between the fibers responds to your body temperature and perspiration is absorbed and released slowly through evaporation so you never wake up overheated or chilled from night sweats.

To Clean: Spot clean or hand rinse only. Do not saturate the wool. Hang dry.

Did you know that most people are NOT allergic to wool? They are actually having a painful response to the course prickly fibers. Some people are more sensitive to this than others. Why are wool fibers so course? It's because of the carbonizing required to remove excess vegetable matter from the wool. It makes the wool fibers weak and then they split, becoming prickly. Also the shorter the fibers are, the better the chance of prickle because there are more fiber ends per unit of fabric. The wool used in our products does NOT go through the carbonizing process. Only wool that is free from prickly vegetable matter is used so that no carbonizing is required. The fibers used in our products are never short! This results in a much softer wool that does not cause prickle.
